FRI AUG 14 2026-theGBJournal| Utagba-Ogbe in Ndokwa West, is set to experience electricity after 16 years without power supply, as Delta State Government push for the rehabilitation and expansion of electricity infrastructure in Ndokwa and Isoko communities, including the work on the critical 33kV lines in the State.
Already, the reconnection of Ndemili, where about 15 kilometers, and four high-powered transformer has been installed.
Commissioner for Energy, Engr. Michael Anoka, announced the restoration during the Free Medical Outreach organised by the You Matter Charity Foundation, an initiative of Her Excellency, Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, in Ndokwa West Constituency.
Anoka disclosed that the restoration was completed under the directive of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, bringing an end to the community’s prolonged wait for electricity.
He noted that the return of power would support households, businesses and other economic activities in the community.
