
TUE MAY 12 2026-theGBJournal| TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Adiana vessel has arrived Weihai, China for major upgrade, the company announced on Tuesday.
The asset, after refurbishment, will replace the long-serving FSO Unity-with storage capacity of 2.2 million barrels of curde oil-, marking a decisive shift from legacy infrastructure to a future-ready offshore system.
”This reflects our “long-term commitment to Nigeria and the strength of our partnership with NNPC Limited,” TotalEnergies MD/CE Matthieu Bouyer noted.
The vessel is scheduled to sail back to its anchorage offshore Nigeria for installation by the end of 2027, and it is expected to Secure production continuity and long-term value for Nigeria.
