WED, AUGUST 16 2023-theGBJournal |MTN Nigeria Communications Plc (MTNN) Wednesday announced its intention to issue up N100 billion Series 6-7 Commercial Paper notes under its Commercial Paper Issuance Programme.
This is coming after the telecoms giant, in March 2023, raised N125 billion in Series 4-5 under its N150bn Commercial Paper issuance programme, to boost its short-term working capital and funding requirements.
The latest issuance, the company says, ”is part of the company’s strategy to diversify its financing options with the funds being deployed towards short-term working capital and funding requirements.
MTNN, listed on the Nigeria Exchange Limited (NGX), says ”further details on the issuance will be communicated to the market as the transaction occur.”
