Luca di Montezemolo suggested news on Michael Schumacher is “not good” but the German’s manager declined to provide an update.
The manager of Michael Schumacher has refused to comment on remarks from former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo that news on the Formula One legend’s health is “not good”.
Schumacher, a winner of seven F1 world titles including five in a row between 2000 and 2004, suffered serious head injuries following a skiing accident in France in December 2013.
The German was placed into a medically-induced coma, before later returning home to continue his rehabilitation
Di Montezemolo was quoted as telling reporters: “I have news and unfortunately it is not good.
“Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999.”
When contacted by Omnisport, Sabine Kehm – Schumacher’s manager – declined to comment on the Italian’s statement.-OMNISPORT
