NNPC and Sterling Global sign monetization agreement on OML 143 with potential revenue of $600 million

FRI, 25 SEPT, 2020-theGBJournal-The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Sterling Global have signed off on agreements for monetization of Oil Mining Lease (OML) 143.
The NNPC in a twitter note today said, ‘’this latest development will help increase NNPC’s footprints in the downstream gas market and a potential revenue of $500-600 million to Nigeria.’’
NNPC Group managing director, Mallam Mele Kyari signed the agreement on behalf of the Corporation, while Mr Tony Chukwueke, Chairman of Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) signed for his company.
