WED, FEB 12 2020-theG&BJournal– The Honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) currently on a tour of various federal government infrastructure projects in Southern part of the country made a stop Tuesday at the 2nd Niger bridge.

The 2nd Niger bridge is been handled by Messrs Julius Berger Plc

He was briefed on the extent of the work at the Asaba section of the on-going project on the deck of the bridge which is been handled by Messrs Julius Berger Plc.
The range of the works include the construction of 1.6 km long bridge, a toll station and 10.3 km highway as well as the Owerri interchange.

The project scheduled for completion by February 2022 holds very immense strategic economic value for the country and many business executives in the South South and South East region of the country told theG&BJournal that the bridge on completion will not only attract great investments but it will also improve the lives of the people of the area.
