MON, DECEMBER 24 2018-theG&BJournal-Berger Paints Nigeria Plc have confirmed the appointment of Mrs Modupe Oguntade as the new acting managing director following the exit of Mr. Peter Folikwe from the board of the paint making firm.
Mrs Oguntade has been the Chief Financial Officer of Berger Paints Nigeria Plc.(BPN). Her appointment becomes effective January 7, 2019.
According to BPN, ‘’the appointment is in line with our succession policy, she is replacing Mr. Peter Folikwe, who will be exiting the Board, having completed his four year tenure as Managing Director. The Board remains grateful to Mr. Folikwe for his services to the Company.’’
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Mrs. Oguntade brings on board almost three decades of management experience having worked with different quoted companies, multinationals and group of companies, including Coopers & Lybrand Nigeria, SCOA Nig. Plc., Sooner Pipes Ltd, TY Group, and the Dangote Group.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University with specialization in Management. She is also a member of the SMP 12 Class of the Lagos Business School.
