PORTCOURT, MAY 22, 2018 – Some German spies who disguised as TV crew are in the country to record the international warm up match between the Super Eagles and the DR Congo team billed for the Adokiye Aimesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on May 28.
Nigerian Pilot Sports gathered that the spies who arrived the country with a German Television Crew are in Nigeria to cover the match and perhaps monitor some players needed in Bundesliga.
The Crew was spotted at the Bolton White Apartment of the Eagles on Sunday where they lodged and will catch a flight to Uyo to see the Eagles train before joining the main crowd in Port Harcourt.
One of the close associates of Eagles who pleaded for anonymity told Nigerian Pilot Sports that the Germans are doing this in case they by chance come across the Eagles if they scale the first round hurdle and they are paired together.
“These people believe the World Cup has started and this is how you know how a serious team that is hungry for success works. It is not in our own case where you seat down without planning and believe you can win the championship.
“I doubt if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have a fore knowledge of the current Croatian, Ice Land and Argentina teams talk less of their tapes.
We only believe in sitting down here praying for luck and asking Nigerians to pray for the team. Knowledgeable coaches in the country have not been saddled with the idea of going out and doing what the Germans and other European teams are doing at the moment.
The Technical Department of the NFF has remained idle for so long that they hardly attend international matches due to scarcity of funds,” Our source said.
