TUE, JUNE 20 2023-theGBJournal |Vice President Kashim Shettima today decorated the newly appointed Acting Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun at State House, Abuja.
His decoration follows a day after his elevation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to head the country’s Police formation.
Recall that President Tinubu Monday sacked all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, Comptroller-General of Customs from Service and announced their replacements with immediate effect.
DIG Kayode Egbetokun was named Acting Inspector-General of Police to replace IGP Usman Alkali Baba.
