MON, OCT 16 2023-theGBJournal| The Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, arrived Beijing, China today, to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the upcoming 3rd Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Forum scheduled to hold from 16th -18th October, 2023.
He was received by the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, the Vice Chairman of Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, Mr. Li Yingjin, and the Deputy Director General of African Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mr. Yu Yong.
He will be joining world leaders from over 130 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America at the Forum to deliberate on the theme, “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity.”
