MON, 17 OCT, 2022-theGBJournal| The UBA Group International Banking Conference 2022, which brings together experts to discuss opportunities in international banking ecosystem, kicks-off today in New York, U.S.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele has been billed as speaker alongside Group Managing Director, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Oliver Alawuba, Sola Yomi-Ajayi CEO UBA America and Adeleke Adeyemi, CEO UBA UK. Other speakers lined up for the event include Amir Ali, Director, Finance Crimes, Promontory Financial Group, Theresa Henshaw, Deputy CEO, UBA America and Vikrant Bhansali, CEO UBA UAE among others.
At the conference, the Bank aims to bring together banking and finance experts, along with representatives of sovereigns and development organisations, to discuss the challenges, opportunities, innovations ‘’in a rapidly evolving international banking ecosystem.’’
Some of the key issues to be discussed include Compliance across the international banking world, cross-border payments challenges and correspondent banking in the international banking environment and global financial markets and treasury solutions
