Transcorp Hotels Plc revenue surges to N97.04 billion in FY2025 as room bookings and service offerings swell

SAT JAN 31 2026-theGBJournal| Transcorp Hotels Plc the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), posted a historic N97.04 billion revenue in FY 2025, driven by robust demand in room bookings, conferencing, food and beverage services, and other ancillary offerings.

The Company, with a market capitalisation of N1.75 trillion, grew its revenue by 38% compared to the same period in 2024, while gross profit increased by 50% year-on-year.

”Our success results from disciplined operational efficiency, strong cost management, and most importantly, our exceptional team’s commitment to service excellence,” said CEO Uzoamaka Oshogwe.

Gross Profit Margin expanded to 77%, from 71% in FY 2024, driven by increased volumes, effective cost management, and operational efficiencies. Operating Profit came in at N35.24 billion (up 35% from N26.03 billion in FY 2024).

Profit Before Tax rose by 45% to N32.82 billion, from N22.61 billion in FY 2024. Profit After Tax stood at N21.85 billion (up 47% from N14.90 billion in FY 2024), while basic and diluted EPS is reported at N2.14 (up from N1.46 in FY 2024).

Meanwhile, Transcorp Hotels total assets came in at N159.91 billion, representing a 14% increase from N140.70 billion in FY 2024.

”This growth reflects substantial investments in physical facilities, supporting our future growth trajectory.” Transcorp management noted.

Total equity saw an increase of 15% to N95.23 billion from N80.52 billion in FY 2024, driven by strong operational performance and continued commitment to reinvesting to enhance shareholder value, while maintaining the policy of rewarding our valued shareholders through regular dividend distributions.

Board Chair, Transcorp Hotels Plc, Dr Awele V. Elumelu expressed delight on the company’s overall results. She said Transcorp Hotels will continue to be focused on driving operational excellence and business growth, whilst exploring new avenues for sustainable long-term value creation for all.

”Looking ahead, we will continue to innovate and leverage cutting-edge technology to strengthen our brand and redefine hospitality standards across Africa,” Oshogwe added.
