MON, 23 MAY, 2022-theGBJournal | Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Sunday announced that it partnership with Google.org in Google’s first African fellowship programme to redesign TETConnect, the largest digital platform for African entrepreneurs with over 1.2 million entrepreneurs networking and learning everyday.
‘’The initiative will empower millions more entrepreneurs and ensure the optimization of an already unique platform,’’ TEF said.
TEF Co-Founder, Dr Awele Elumelu said, ‘’we are pleased to continue to share our unique ability and platform to identify, train, mentor and fund young entrepreneurs across Africa with like-minded institutions like Google.org which shares in our commitment to empower young African entrepreneurs.’’
The partnership was announced at the ongoing World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022 in Davos, Switzerland where global business and public sector leaders are reconnecting to share insights, gain fresh perspectives, and build problem-solving communities and initiatives.
According to Dr Awele Elumelu, it will be exciting to see the ways in which the refreshed TEFConnect platform will continue to provide space for growth, personal development and meaningful exchange for African entrepreneurs.
