SUN, MAY 31 2020-theG&BJournal-‘’It is absolutely our honour to be part of this huge effort to get the United States back in the launch business. We will talk to you from orbit,’’ NASA astronaut Doug Hurley twitted as Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX successfully blasted its first two astronauts into space Saturday with its powerful Falcon 9 rocket.

The lift off was the second attempt after bad weather forced the launch to be scrubbed three days ago.
NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are the first two astronauts to fly from US soil since the space shuttle mission in July 8 2011.
The Crew Dragon spaceship is designed to be fully autonomous, but the astronauts can take control of the spacecraft if necessary. The spaceship is expected to dock at the International Space Station at 10.30 am (EDT) today, May 31.
The historic launch was a key moment also for SpaceX, a company formed by Elon Musk with a commercial intent-to take humans to Mars in the near future.
