The Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the African Womens Cup of Nations holding in Cameroon later this year after beating Senegal 2-0 in a hard fought match yesterday in Abuja.
The 10th African Women Cup of Nations will hold in Cameroon from the19th of November to the 3rd of December this year.
Goals by midfielders Rita Chikwelu and Osarenoma Igbinovia, were enough to send the Falcons soaring to a 3-1 aggregate win over the Senegalese, following both teams’ 1-1 draw in Dakar on Friday.
Amaju Pinnick, president of the NFF was at the match venue to congratulate the girls.
