TUE, JUN 30 2020-theG&BJournal- Reuters survey of 45 analysts suggest an average Brent price of $40 per barrel for 2020, up from $37.57 in a similar survey in May- with price gains projceted towards the end of 2020 and into 2021.
The Poll also estimates the price of WTI would average $36.10 a barrel this year, up from a forecast of $32.78 in their May survey.
Reuters said 37 contributors who participated in both the May and June polls, 26 raised their 2020 Brent forecasts.
OPEC and OPEC+ members entered into agreement to a production cut on April of 9.7 million barrels per day beginning in May through the end of June to shore up prices and demand hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
