Mr Sam Olumekun, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (INEC) in Edo, has advised the new heads of the Federal Government information agencies to effectively drive President Muhammadu Buhari’s change agenda.
Olumekun gave this advice in a congratulatory message to the six heads of the information institutions, which was made available on Monday in Benin.
The REC said, “I congratulate you on your appointment as Directors-General of the national bodies that are saddled with the responsibility of disseminating vital information to Nigerians.
He prayed God to give them the wisdom, vision and unique leadership style that would turn around their organisations and Nigeria in general in line with the change agenda of the Federal Government.
Olumekun urged them to use their organisations to play active roles in discharging the various assignments for national development.
The heads of the institutions are: Mr Bayo Onanuga, NAN; Mr Ishaq Kawu, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and Mr Mansur Liman, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
Others are Mr Yakubu Mohammed, Nigeria Television Authority (NTA); Dr Garba Abari, National Orientation Agency (NOA) and Mr Osita Okechukwu, Voice of Nigeria (VON).
