THUR, AUG 27 2020-theG&BJournal– The resumption of International flight resumption has been shifted to Sept 5, 2020, which is now the sacrosanct date.
The Director General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) representing the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika announced the new date today during Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 briefing in Abuja.
The aviation official said the shift is as a result of delay in concluding other aviation non-logistic, mostly to do with the COVID-19 protocols and the online platform.
He said all of these have to be put in place so that they can have a smooth and efficient resumption of the international flights and without difficulties for all passengers.
The date earlier announced by the PTF is August 29, 2020 with flights scheduled to begin in the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja
