Friday, MAY 19 2023-theGBJournal |Presidential Election Tribunal will Saturday rule on the applications brought by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) and its Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu seeking the dismissal of the Petition by Peoples Democratic Party and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The applicants are asking the Tribunal to either dismiss the PDP/Atiku petition in whole or some of its paragraphs and other accompanying processes filed by PDP/Atiku ”for offending the provisions of the law.”
The Justice Haruna Tsammani five-man panel announced that they will reserve rulings will be delivered on the day of judgement in the main petition after taking arguments from lawyers across the divide.
The Tribunal consequently adjourned further pre=hearing session in the petition till Saturday for both parties to agree on schedule to be adopted for the hearing of the petition.
