WED, MAY. 17 2023-theGBJournal |The Presidential Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja today adjourned to Friday May 19, 2023, the petition filed by the Labour Party and its Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi challenging the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the February 25, 2023 General Election.

The Justices, headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani, hearing the case adjourned the case following the failure of the parties in the petition to agree on documents among other reasons.

Peter was in court for the hearing which was disrupted by the presence of Lamidi Apapa, described as a ”Rebel former Deputy National Chairman of Labour Party” and widely regarded as an All Progressives Congress (APC) Party mole.

Apapa attempted to appear as a representative of the Labour Party Nigeria at the Tribunal but was refused by Tribunal. He was subsequently escorted out of the sitting and booed by scores of Labour Party supporters at the court premises.

Earlier, after the pre-hearing session, supporters of the Julius Abure-led camp of the Labour prevented Apapa from addressing the press.
