FRI, JUNE 02 2023-theGBJournal |President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as expected, has begun to unfold gradually, his key kitchen cabinet members, mostly close party members and confidants.
Prominent amongst those revealed today is the former Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila who is named Chief of Staff to the President.
George Akume, former Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs under Former President Muhammadu Buhari, has also been appointed as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). He was also a Senator and former Executive Governor of Benue State.
Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a lawyer from Jigawa State was named deputy to Akume.
All new appointees are staunch members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
