President Tinubu is Minister of Petroleum as some of the 45 confirmed nominees gets ministerial portfolios

WED, AUGUST 16 2023-theGBJournal |The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named himself the Minister of Petroleum, amongst the 45 confirmed ministerial nominees, some of whom he assigned their portfolios today.

The Petroleum Ministry has been broken into two, with 2 ministers of state, all from the South South.

Yusuf Tuggar is the foreign minister, Dele Alake Solid Minerals, Mohammed Idris Information Minister, Festus Keyamo will be in charge of aviation and aerospace development, while Nyesom Wike will be in charge of the FCT Ministry.

Ministry of environment is being reserved for Kaduna state.

Other ministers are Wale Edun -Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola-Transportation, David Umahi, Works Minister, Festus Keyamo-Aviation and Aerospace Development, and Betta Edu, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
