WED OCT 02 2024-theGBJournal| The Presidency, in a brief statement today said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.
”He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms,” according to the statement
The statement did not specify who will be running the country’s affairs while the President is on his annual vacation, but like during the President Buhari’s administration, Vice President, Kashim Shettima is expected to step in, with the consent of the National Assembly.
President Tinubu, according to the statement, will return to the country after the leave expires.
