THUR MAY 22 2025-theGBJournal| Taraba state played host Wednesday to an extraordinary convergence of VIPs, Business Moguls and Investors at the inaugural Taraba International Investment Summit – #Taravest 2025.
The summit was declared open by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The event was well attended by former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Heir Holdings, Mr. Tony Elumelu, and hundreds of business owners within and outside Nigeria.
Other distinguished guests and speakers at the summit included the Minister of Special Development Initiative Ghana, who represented the Ghanaian President, the Governor of Niger State, H.E. Umar Bago, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Saad, the Ooni of Ife, HRM Enitan Ogunwusi, and the Archbishop of Abuja, Most Rev Ignatius Kaigama, among other esteemed VIPs.
”Indeed, Taravest convened investors, business leaders, policymakers, and development partners in the beautiful city of Jalingo. We are not just bringing in investors — we can guarantee the safety of their investments and expertise,” Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas said.
