THUR, JUNE 29 2023-theGBJournal | The executive Governor of Kano state, Abba Kabir Yusuf Monday led the swearing in of his new commissioners and assigned them to their different ministries.
19 Commissioners were sworn in including Comr. Aminu Abdulsalam assigned to the Ministry for Local Government, Hon. Haruna Umar Doguwa as Commissioner for Education, Ali bukar Makoda, Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Abubakar Labaran yusuf, Commissioner Ministry of Health, Engr. Marwan Ahmad, Commissioner Ministry of Works, Housing and infrastructure, Barr. Haruna Dederi, Commissioner Ministry for Justice, Dr. Yusuf Kofarmata, Commissioner Ministry for Higher Education.
Others are Nasiru sule Garo, Commissioner Ministry for Environment, Engr. Muhammad Diggol, Commissioner Ministry for transport, Hon. Abbas Sani Abba, Commissioner Ministry for Commerce and investment, Hon. Hamza Safiyanu, Commissioner Ministry for Rural Affairs, Dr. Danjuma Mahmoud, Commissioner Ministry for Agriculture, Musa Sulaiman Shanono, Commissioner Ministry for Budget and planning.
Haj. Ladidi Garko is assigned as Commissioner to the Ministry for Culture and Tourism while, Adamu Ali kibiya is new Commissioner Ministry for Land and survey. Tajuddeen Othman will serve as Commissioner Ministry for Science and Technology, Baba Halilu dantiye as Commissioner Ministry for information, Sheik Tijjani Auwal will be in charge of Ministry for religious affairs and Aisha L. is new Commissioner Ministry for women affairs.
Meanwhile, the Governor is celebrating with Muslims and notable figures in the State the Eid-el-Kabir.
Earlier he and his deputy Kwamared Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, visited the field of Idi Mosque in the door of women to inspect the extent construction work.
He also visited His Royal highness the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, at the Idi mosque of women in Kano city.
And Earlier today, the Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf together with his deputy Comr. Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo on behalf of the chairman of Kano state house of assembly and new commissioners, visited the leader of NNPP national party Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in his house in Bompai Miller Road, Kano to felicitate with him on the Eid.
