THUR 04 NOV, 2021-theGBJournal- OPEC non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting ended today with all parties agreeing to stay with their gradual pace of production increases, despite pleas from the U.S President Joe Biden to up the pace a bit faster.

The cartel reconfirmed its production adjustment plan and the monthly production adjustment mechanism of 0.4 mb/d each month.

The U.S President at the G20 meeting Sunday in Rome, Italy, blamed the rise in energy prices in the U.S and around the world on the reluctance of the group to pump more oil.

Oil prices have touched $83 per barrel- a three year-high- as demand recovered after countries began lifting COVID-19 restrictions.
