WED, JAN 24 2024-theGBJournal|The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Wednesday dissolved the State Executive Council (EXCO),and with immediate effect.
Also, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) are relieved of their duties, with immediate effect.
The EXCO dissolution was announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Consequently, all members of the Cabinet are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
The State Government directed all the affected officials to hand over all government properties in their possession.

The EXCO dissolution came barely three weeks after he was sworn in as the state governor following the death of ex-Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
