The America singer, song writer and actor won three Grammy awards and stared in TV movies based on one of his most popular hits, The Gambler, loved by millions of music lovers in Nigeria.
Rogers is credited with expanding Country Music audience worldwide and had string of top hits in the 1970s and ‘80s that captivated music lovers.
His hit music list includes great songs like Coward of County, Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love To Town and Lucille.
He was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
