TUE, APRIL 21 2020-theG&BJournal-North Korea, as usual has kept the world guessing about its eccentric leader Kim Jong Un after he underwent a life threatening surgery recently. Speculations are rife that he may have relapsed into even more critical condition but North Korean officials are keeping his condition under wraps.
The 300 pounds heavy smoker much loved by the US President Donald Trump, have had a history of health issues including a foot surgery in 2014 which saw him disappear from public view for 40 days. He is also known to have a heart problem and his life style choices have not helped his case.
North Korea watchers noticed his visible absence at his grandfather’s birthday on April 15 and began questioning his sudden disappearance again from public view until it emerged in the early hours of Tuesday that he has undergone another major surgery.
Reports say Kim has been positioning his younger sister Kim yo-jong strategically in government and maybe next in line to takeover if something really serious happens to him.
