NNPCL deploys over 100 trucks to Dangote Refinery ahead of Sunday’s petrol loading

SAT SEPT 14 2024-theGBJournal| Ahead of scheduled Sunday’s petrol loading, The NNPC Limited today deployed over 100 petrol tankers, with hundreds more en route to Dangote Refinery’s loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

The NNPC was recently announced as the sole buyer of the company’s petroleum product, and will supply about 385,000 barrels of crude oil per day to Dangote Refinery, to be paid in Naira.

”In return, the Dangote Refinery will supply PMS (petrol) and diesel of equivalent value to the domestic market, to be paid in Naira,” Finance Minister, Wale Edun said while revealing the details of the deal.

The deal will see Dangote sell petrol only NNPC Limited.
