SUN, SEPT 17 2023-theGBJournal |The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, (NNPC), Nigeria’s global energy company, Saturday made key senior management appointments for its three key subsidiaries, the Upstream, Downstream and Gas, Power, and New Energy.
The three new senior executives appointed are Oritsemeyiwa A. Eyesan, Executive Vice President, Upstream, Olalekan Ogunleye, Executive Vice President, Gas, Power, and New Energy and Adedapo A. Segun, Executive Vice President, Downstream.
The NNPC says their appointments are with immediate effect.
NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Garba Deen Muhammad in a statement to announce the appointments said, the appointments are in line with the company’s commitment and drive for organisational renewal, anchored on its business imperatives, standards of excellence, people development, and strengthening of competencies and capabilities through broad-based leadership exposure.
The NNPC Gas and Power is tasked with unlocking the country’s stranded gas and increase commercial gas volumes by expanding investments in gas processing and transmission network and access untapped markets to service existing and new gas-based industries, power, and LNG projects.
The Upsream business ensures maximum economic performance of upstream activities while the Downstream ensure maximum economic performance and energy supply stability for domestic market through customer focused and sustainable business operations.
