SAT, MAY 20 2023-theGBJournal | NNPC Limited is set to supply 300,000 barrels of crude to Dangote Refinery for the commencement of operations.
The state oil company has a 20% ($2.76 billion) equity stake in Dangote Refinery, the 650,000 barrels per day integrated refinery project in the Lekki Free Zone, Lagos.
The company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mallam Mele Kyari gave this assurance at the 2023 Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair organised by Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board, held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Kyari said the supply is a marketing opportunity for NNPC Limited. He added that NNPC is also growing the domestic domestic gas market
This reassurance of energy sufficiency comes ahead of the inauguration of the Dangote Refinery next week.
