Nigeria’s Bank of Industry joins the COVID-19 fight with a N700 million relief funding

SAT, APRIL 04 2020-theG&BJournal- Bank of Industry (BOI) is the latest entity to join other corporate and philanthropists in the country in support of the coronavirus (COVID-19) fight through the donation of N700 million in relief funding.
The development finance institution split their donation among the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID), the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Ministerial Committee on COVID-19 and the Lagos State Government.
BOI contributed N500 million into the coffers of CACOVID while the FCT and the Lagos State Government received N100 million each.
The Lagos State funding is to be used to advance regional efforts to combat the spread of the pandemic through the supply of critical care equipment, facilities and essential relief aid, according to BOI.
