Nigerian Senate approves fresh $1.5 billion and €955 million external borrowing for FG

WED 21 APRIL, 2021-theGBJournal- The Nigerian Senate today at their Plenary approved fresh external borrowing for the Federal Government.

The approved sum is $1.5 billion and €955 million to be borrowed from multilateral and bilateral institutions.

The money is to finance priority projects of government and projects that will support State governments.

Meanwhile, the Senate during the Plenary approved the sum of N1.7 billion as the 2021 budget for the Nigerian Customs Services.
