Nigerian International passport remains weak on Passport Power ranking

TUE, DECEMBER 04 2018-theG&BJournal– Nigeria moved up a notch among world’s most powerful passports climbing three places in the latest Passport Index Ranking to 82nd of 193 United Nations member countries. The ranking shows that Nigerians require visa to travel to 151 countries, it has visa free entry to only 23 countries and only 24 countries grants Nigerians visa on arrival.

The Passport Index developed by Canada-based based consulting firm, Arton Capital, curates, sorts and ranks the world’s passport.

The United Arab Emirates currently ranks highest with its citizens able to travel to as many as 167 countries either without a visa or get one on arrival. Singapore ranks second while Germany and USA passports currently ranks third and fourth respectively.
