SAT. 25 FEB, 2023-theGBJournal| President Muhammadu Buhari cast his vote today in Daura as the general elections began across the 36 states of Nigeria as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
He was accompanied by his wife and son to the Sarkin Yara polling Unit in Daura, Katsina after the accreditation of voters.
The President, after casting his vote displayed his ballot paper to the huge crowd gathered around him, his thumb print clearly showing who he voted for.
Analysts and election watchers have roundly condemned the action as a ‘’flagrant disregard’’ to the electoral laws.
