SUN. 26 FEB, 2023-theGBJournal| The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of the Presidential election in Ekiti State.
The INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu announced the result at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, today.
The APC polled a total of 201, 494 votes to win the state’s election. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 89,554 in second place followed by Labour Party Nigeria with 11,397 and NNPP with 264 votes in total.
The result is the first official result to be released by the Commission following the Presidential and National Assembly polls Saturday.
