WED. 11 JANUARY, 2023-theGBJournal| The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) say there are over 100, 000 uncollected passports across all of its passport offices, amid current passport-related challenges experienced by Nigerians.
The NIS said that they recognise the challenges and are working towards finding lasting solutions to the problems. It also pleaded for patience while they try to fix it.
It noted that it has initiated, yet again, an internal housekeeping measures to see to the clearance of all the uncollected passports.
”In same breath, we want to seize this opportunity to reassure NIigerians, within and outside the country, of our unwavering, unending and unconditional dedication to seeing that the current issues being experienced became a thing of the past,” the NIS said.
