Nigeria, Hungary explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation

WED NOV 26 2025-theGBJournal| Vice President Kashim Shettima has held bilateral discussions with Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok at the 7th African Union-European Union Summit in Angola.

The meeting between the Vice President and the Hungarian leader took place on the sidelines of the summit in Luanda, where leaders from both unions are addressing issues of peace, security, governance, and multilateralism.

The talks explored opportunities for enhanced Nigeria-Hungary cooperation in areas including trade, investment, technology transfer, and educational exchanges. The engagement with President Sulyok is part of Vice President Shettima’s diplomatic outreach at the AU-EU gathering, where he is representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
