WED, MARCH 13 2019-theG&BJournal-NCR Nigeria PLC, the first Multinational ICT Company quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange have announced the appointment of Ms Christiana Nnawu Yisa as a Director and the new Country Manager/ Chief Executive Officer with effect from Tuesday March 12 2019.
The appointment which was approved by the Board of Directors follows the resignation of Harold N Anumihe who held the position since May 2017.
Prior to joining NCR, Christiana was IBM’s Commercial Sector Leader for Central, East and West Africa (CEWA), leading a team of account managers across 26 countries.
An MBA graduate from the Lagos State University, Christiana holds over 16 years experience in leadership, sales and marketing as well as business development.
NCR commenced operations in Nigeria on 9th December, 1949 under the name of National Cash Register Company (West Africa) Limited and was granted a listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on 30th May 1979. The company adopted its present name of NCR (Nigeria) Plc in 1996.
