
THUR APRIL 17 2025-theGBJournal| The Executive Secretary of Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, has reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for indigenous operators, following a courtesy visit from the management team of Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, the consortium behind the recent acquisition of SPDC’s onshore oil assets.
During the meeting at the Nigerian Content Tower, Engr. Ogbe praised the company’s strong Nigerian Content agenda and regional ambitions, assuring them of the Board’s unwavering support.
“We will offer a double enabling environment to ensure Renaissance thrives both in Nigeria and across Africa,” he stated.
Dr. Tony Attah, MD/CEO of Renaissance, emphasized: “We are ourselves Nigerian Content. Our mission is to be the African leader in energy and drive industrialisation.”
The visit marks a shared vision between NCDMB and Renaissance to deepen local content, promote indigenous capacity, and enable energy security.
