‘’His zeal to drive change through inclusive leadership and a resilient spirit leaves a legacy that continues to attract and inspire younger people across all walks of life,’’ Buhari wrote in a congratulatory message to the man who started his career as a quantity surveyor after establishing a Quantity Surveying and Project Management Consulting firm in 1982.
The President said he believes El-Rufai’s foresight, wisdom and unusual capacity to mobilize people and resources to actualize dreams stand him out in leadership and administration.
‘’El-Rufai’s entry into public service was truly accidental, but the contributions he has made are deliberate, well thought out and long lasting,’’ the President said.
President Buhari also highlighted his diligent contributions to the 2015 political upset that heralded the take-over of power by the governing APC.
