‘’The Committee will be addressing the diverse aspects of vaccine acquisition which spans across sectors,’’ the Minister said.

According to the Minister, the preparation for a national COVID-19 vaccination effort will require all the expert advice Nigeria can gather to actualise the high standard the Federal Government has set for vaccination.

The Minster during the inauguration of the Committee  said that the country has also taken part in the race of vaccines which are quite unique vaccines-borne out of exigencies of the time.

‘’Vaccines can save lives and there are currently over 50 serious COVID-19 vaccine candidates in or awaiting trial in the world, including two from Nigeria,’’ Dr Ehanire said.
