SAT, FEB 15 2020-theG&BJournal- Norwich were on the verge of earning a very precious point at their Carrow Road turf but Sadio Mane had a different painful pill for the bottom club.
Mane broke the deadlock shortly after he was introduced to quench the hopes of the thousands of the Canneries fans. In the 77th minutes he brings a long ball down in the box, twists around a couple of Norwich defenders and fired low into the bottom left corner. VAR had a say before it was finally given as a goal.
The game ended with the goal and it was the 17th win in a roll for Liverpool who are poised to broke or equal all existing Premier League record since the Premier League era began.
It was Mane’s 100th goal in all competitions since moving to England and the win leaves Liverpool walking alone at the top of the Premier League table and sailing towards their first league title in 30 years.
