They head into the European Champions League finals Saturday against English rival Tottenham (Spurs) the highest earning club in England in 2018/19 season, banking a staggering N69.025 billion (£152.5 million) despite coming second best in the Premier League.
Manchester City, their biggest rival this season, came in second, earning N68.731 billion (£151 million).
These are monies from their matches shown live on television. Matches involving Liverpool were shown live 29 times by Sky Sports and BT Sports. Chelsea came third in the money ranking banking £146.030 million and their matches shown live 25 times. Liverpool’s opponent in the Champions league finals in Madrid tomorrow Spurs earned £145.230 million while Arsenal and Manchester United took home £142.193 million and £142.512 million respectively. Huddersfield earned the least amount of £96.5 million.
