…Nine more COVID-19 patients discharged
WED, APRIL 22 2020-theG&BJournal-The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today unveiled a 70-bed COVID-19 isolation and treatment centre in Eti-Osa Local Government Area.
The 70-bed facility with 10-bed dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was set up by the Young President Organisation (YPO), Lagos Chapter and located in the grounds of the Landmark Exhibition Centre, Victoria Island.
Sanwo-Olu said during the unveiling, that the birth of the COVID-19 isolation and treatment facility is another good example of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and ‘Can-Do’ spirit between Lagos State and YPO Lagos State Chapter.
Meanwhile, 9 more persons, 5 females and 4 males including 1 foreign national-a polish have been discharged to reunite with the society after full recovery and testing negative twice consecutively. This brings to 107, number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
