THUR, 29 SEPT, 2022-theGBJournal| The Lagos State Government has postponed the Year 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Resit to Thursday, 6th October, 2022 at all designated centres across the state.
A statement signed by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu said the postponement became necessary to accommodate Schools that were yet to register their candidates for the Resit Examination.
He, therefore, implored concerned Principals to take note of the new date and ensured that all affected candidates are duly informed, stressing that the Board does not wish to deny anyone the opportunity of taking the examination.
While regretting all inconveniences that may arise from the postponement, Orunsolu solicited the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders for a fruitful exercise
Before the postponement, the BECE Resit was earlier scheduled for Wednesday, 28th 2022.
