Kingdom of Belgium confers ‘oldest and most important national’ honour on Heirs Holding Chairman Tony Elumelu

TUE, 17 NOV, 2020-theGBJournal Chairman Heirs Holding, Tony Elumelu has been conferred the Order of Leopold, The Kingdom of Belgium oldest and most important National Honour, ‘’for his great work with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, a Foundation he founded in 2010 to support entrepreneurship in Africa.
Mr Elumelu was also commended for his ‘’excellent relations with Belgium and the Belgian Royal family.
‘’I am humbled by this recognition of the work at Tony Elumelu Foundation in catalysing entrepreneurs across Africa and will continue to drive the economic empowerment of our brilliant young African entrepreneurs to propel development in Africa,’’ Tony wrote on his twitter handle.‘’
‘’As Belgium reflects on and resets her relationship with Africa, we look forward to further partnership,’’ he said while thanking the Belgian Monarch and Belgians in Nigeria.
