MON JULY 21 2025-theGBJournal| Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda was in a near fatal car accident late Sunday night, while travelling from Daura to Katsina, the State capital, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Kaula Mohammad said in a statement.
He is said to have sustained a fracture and is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Daura.
The North West Governors Forum also confirmed the incident while expressing deep concern on the news.
”We are deeply relived and thankful to Almighty Allah that Governor Radda sustained no serious injuries and remains in stable condition. His wellbeing is of paramount importance to the Forum and the entire North West region,” the Forum said in a statement released late Sunday.
