“We are not going to put price now but I can assure you, it will be cheaper than what you are getting right now.

“That way you will be happy that succour is beginning to come our way.

“We know there are challenges about getting the product but are we are trying to bring a solution to cushion the effect,’’ he said.

Okoronkwo said that the challenges that were being experienced in the sector would not hinder the association from delivering on its mandate.

He said that there were challenges on every sphere, saying “what we are looking at is prospect, very soon, we will be there.’’

He said that with the new Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy on Foreign Exchange (FOREX), the association would take the opportunity to get FOREX and sell the products cheaper.
